Hi - I'm Mick Miller - WELCOME to powertopresent.com

Are you looking for some help with a presentation? Asuw
Good news - You can register for free (over on the right hand menu bar) and get access to hundreds of presentation skills and tips - on PowerPoint, on giving a business presentation and lot's lot's more!

Great news!
You can access all the presentation skills on this site for free right now!

Sad news!

There are some ongoing problems with bits of the code on the website - which means that the Smart Tutor section and the Shopping Cart aren't working at the moment! Really really sorry - I'm still trying to get it all fixed - but it's taking longer than you'd believe was possible!

BUT
Even though the shopping cart is bust - if you really want a copy of my CD - you can still e-mail me and we'll work something out (check out the 'Training' page for my e-mail).

How does powertopresent.com work?
Check out the right hand end of the top menu and you'll see four links (Preparation, Delivery Part 1, Delivery Part 2 and Special Skills). These have drop-downs that give Registered users access to over 40 different presentation skill topic areas (such as 'Prompting yourself during your presentation' and 'Holding people's attention').

And, each of these contain professional presentation tips and skills on that topic area - over 400 skills and tips throughout the whole site!

Here's a taster - it's called 'Cutbacks' ...
Have you ever been due to give a presentation as one of several people in a session, when one or more of the presenters before you runs over and, because of that, you are asked to cut back your time. This can be very frustrating, especially when you have put a lot of effort into your preparation and you have a large amount of material to cover. In actual fact, although it can be disappointing to have to cut back, it is actually very positive. It may feel essential that you get your full time allocation and cover everything as planned, but a request to cut back is a great opportunity to fine tune and focus your presentation.

Very few people manage to keep their presentations succinct enough. The majority are too long and cover far too much detail. The majority of presentations would be markedly better if they were cut down in size. They would become more focused and punchy and make more of an impact on the audience. So, next time you’re asked to cut down your presentation, be encouraged, you have just been handed a great opportunity to deliver something much more effective, dynamic and to-the-point!
